I expect to be challenged in life. I expect to be informed. I expect to be protected.

I don’t want to see articles in newspapers with clear agendas anymore. Honestly, why would anyone want to LEARN about something from the opinions and judgments of others? That’s silly.

I would like to read a news article that provides clear, accurate information, with cited sources. If a topic matters to me, I would like to be able to find lots of articles that include various perspectives and threads to consider about whatever it is that interests me. I have come to accept that today, for whatever reason, this doesn’t exist in our society (outside of university) here in the United States of America.

This is sad.

I also expect consistency, for that is how we can certainly know anything. I have no idea what to expect from Elon Musk with Twitter, but I do know that I’m betting on him, and here’s why. History has shown me what type of business person he is, not some journalist. His track record in following up and moving agenda’s is there, even if some journalist says different.

If our businesses say anything about us, which I believe they do, then I also have no reason to believe that Elon Musk is suddenly going to change tracks for shits and giggles and blow shit up for fun. I could be wrong.

Oh, and I can’t lie. From whatever I can put together about what is going on in the world with Twitter, my stomach does flips. I love watching him work. I see he takes risks. I see he bets on himself. I see he cares about something greater than himself. Those are some potent ingredients of a true entrepreneur. I’m very excited to see how this goes!
